Job Summary:
MDAEdge is seeking a Payments Product Owner / Payments Lead to define and execute the product strategy for payment processes and services across their D2C platforms. This role involves driving the payments roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with payment regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Define and execute the payments product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
• Partner with Engineering, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and Customer Support to align priorities and deliver best-in-class payment solutions.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR) to identify innovation opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Track payment KPIs, identify inefficiencies, and implement enhancements to improve conversion, reduce costs, and elevate user experience.
• Ensure adherence to payment regulations and security standards, working closely with relevant teams to address vulnerabilities.
• Translate business needs into actionable user stories, maintain a well-groomed backlog, and prioritize features for development teams.
• Assist Accounts Receivable and Consumer Services in troubleshooting payment system issues and resolving customer disputes.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years in product management, preferably in payments, fintech, or eCommerce.
• Expertise in payment processing (credit/debit cards, ACH, mobile wallets, PayPal, Apple Pay, Affirm, etc.).
• Familiarity with payment gateways, fraud prevention, billing systems, and eCommerce platforms.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to drive decision-making.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset.
Preferred:
• Experience with QuickLizard is a plus.
