Job description

Do you love running big machines and being part of a team that gets the job done? At SRM Concrete, weโ€™re looking for hands-on, hard-working people to join us as Loader Operators. If you take pride in a good dayโ€™s work, enjoy driving heavy equipment, and want to help build the future of your community, this is the job for you.

  • Take the wheel of powerful front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement around the plantโ€”keeping our concrete flowing and our operations moving.
  • Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors so our team always has the materials they need.
  • Work side-by-side with your crew and production team to keep things running on schedule.
  • Check your equipment before and after each shift, and let the team know if something needs fixingโ€”your safety and theirs comes first.
  • Follow all safety rules, wear your gear, and help keep the plant a safe place for everyone.
  • Pitch in to keep your work area clean and organizedโ€”because a tidy site is a safer site.
  • Help count inventory and make sure we never run low on the materials that keep us going.
  • Share your ideas with plant leaders and help us get better every day.
  • Be ready to lend a hand wherever youโ€™re neededโ€”whether itโ€™s helping a teammate or jumping in on a tough job.

  • Experience running loaders or other big machines is great, but if youโ€™re willing to learn and work hard, weโ€™ll train you.
  • Valid Driverโ€™s License.
  • You care about safetyโ€”yours and your teamโ€™sโ€”and youโ€™re not afraid to speak up if somethingโ€™s not right.
  • You know how to check your equipment and handle basic fixes.
  • Youโ€™re a team player who communicates well and shows up ready to work.
  • Youโ€™re physically able to handle a job that keeps you moving in all kinds of weather.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is helpful, but not required.
  • Willingness to complete our pre-employment screenings.
  • You live by our 5 Principles of Service: Safety, Quality, Kindness, Cleanliness, and Go-Getter.
