What You'll Do

This role combines leadership, logistics, heavy haul operations, and field execution, making it ideal for someone who wants to take ownership of complex transportation projects from start to finish. In this role, you will:

  • Lead and supervise crews supporting heavy haul and specialized transportation operations.
  • Coordinate the movement of over-dimensional and super loads, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Plan and oversee daily work activities, manpower needs, equipment utilization, and project schedules.
  • Work closely with project leadership to identify and resolve operational challenges that impact productivity or scheduling.
  • Support loading, transporting, unloading, and positioning of heavy components and equipment.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure all transportation equipment, trailers, and securement systems are operating safely and effectively.
  • Lead daily planning meetings and communicate expectations, work plans, and safety requirements to crews.
  • Maintain project documentation, inspections, and compliance requirements throughout each transport operation.

What You Bring

Required:

  • CDL Class A license
  • Strong commitment to safe equipment operation
  • 5+ years of experience in heavy haul, transportation, construction, rigging, or heavy equipment operations.
  • Previous leadership, crew lead, or foreman experience.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to coordinate personnel, equipment, and schedules in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently

Preferred:

  • Heavy haul, oversize load, or specialized transportation experience.
  • Knowledge of heavy lift equipment, hydraulic trailers, Goldhofer systems, SPMTs, or related transport equipment.
  • Experience with route planning, load securement, and transport logistics.
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and transportation best practices.
