Asphalt Paving Superintendent

Job Post Summary

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Superintendent to oversee and coordinate asphalt paving operations. The ideal candidate will supervise paving crews, coordinate daily work assignments, ensure safe and efficient operations, monitor equipment, and maintain required documentation.

The role requires hands-on asphalt paving experience, crew leadership, equipment operation knowledge, and the ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends when required.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule daily work assignments for asphalt paving crews

  • Supervise and direct asphalt laborers and equipment operators

  • Oversee daily asphalt paving operations and ensure work is completed efficiently

  • Provide training and guidance to crew members

  • Promote and enforce workplace safety practices and procedures

  • Monitor paving equipment condition, maintenance, and repairs

  • Coordinate crew activities to maintain productivity and quality

  • Ensure paving operations follow applicable project requirements

  • Complete daily paperwork, reports, and other required documentation

  • Coordinate with project and field personnel as needed

  • Support scheduling and planning of paving activities

  • Work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and extended shifts when required

Qualifications and Certifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in asphalt paving operations
