POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Alutiiq Operations Services, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Pavement Technician supporting Tinker Air Force Base located in Oklahoma City, OK. The Pavement Technician constructs or repairs concrete and asphalt streets, sidewalks, runways, taxiways, parking areas, miscellaneous hard stands, and all weather surfaces. Maintains adequate airfield drainage. Vacuums and sweeps all runways, taxiways, ramp areas, base streets, and parking lots. Performs snow removal as outlined in snow removal plan. Familiar with the operation of the equipment and the processes used in the grounds area.
  • Operates pavement maintenance equipment for line painting, seal coating, crack filling, and power washing.
  • Delivers high-quality workmanship on each project, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Maintains a clean and safe job site; uphold all safety protocols.
  • Communicates job progress daily to the Operations Manager.
  • Adapts to various site conditions and project requirements.
  • Performs other related duties as needed to support the crew and company goals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Experience working outdoors or in construction-related roles (asphalt or exterior painting a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions.
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 75 lbs, bend, kneel, and walk throughout shifts.
  • Self-motivated and dependable; able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
  • An associate's degree in industrial electronics, instrumentation/controls, or production/process technology is preferred.

Pay rate: $31.42 per hour
