Position Overview

New Pattern Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing therapeutic services that support the mental health and well-being of our diverse clientele. As a licensed professional, you will conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and facilitate therapy sessions while utilizing evidence-based practices to foster resilience and recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth exploratory assessments to identify the mental health concerns and needs of clients, ensuring accurate diagnostic formulations.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with clients, utilizing evidence-based modalities tailored to their individual goals.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques that resonate with the unique dynamics of each client.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients facing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Maintain meticulous client records, including treatment progress and updates, in compliance with ethical and legal standards to ensure confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to facilitate integrated care approaches for our clients.
  • Educate clients and their families on mental health topics, treatment models, and community resources while advocating for their rights and access to services.
  • Proactively engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and training to stay updated on best practices in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, each bringing unique backgrounds and challenges. Our clientele encompasses various age groups and demographics, reflecting the vibrant community we serve in Stockton. Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required; a Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is essential.
