New Pattern Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in providing remote therapeutic services. This full-time role is essential in delivering compassionate and effective mental health support to a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, families, and groups in Fresno, California, and beyond. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Educate clients and families about mental health issues, treatment options, coping strategies, and available community resources, fostering a collaborative approach to care.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops, training sessions, and staying updated with current best practices in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will encompass a broad spectrum of individuals from varying backgrounds and experiences, including those struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and other mental health issues. You will play a crucial role in helping clients from Fresno, California, build resilience and develop skills necessary for personal growth and emotional well-being.

Qualifications
  • Must be a licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) with the appropriate credentials to practice.
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field is required.
  • Demonstrated strong clinical assessment capabilities and diagnostic skills.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is essential.

Compensation and Benefits
