New Pattern Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in providing remote therapeutic services. • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify clients’ mental health concerns, formulating accurate clinical diagnoses and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing research-backed modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based interventions, all tailored to meet specific client goals.
• Respond promptly to crisis situations, providing immediate support and intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health challenges.
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Educate clients and families about mental health issues, treatment options, coping strategies, and available community resources, fostering a collaborative approach to care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops, training sessions, and staying updated with current best practices in mental health therapy.

Your clientele will encompass a broad spectrum of individuals from varying backgrounds and experiences, including those struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and other mental health issues. You will play a crucial role in helping clients from Fresno, California, build resilience and develop skills necessary for personal growth and emotional well-being.

• Must be a licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) with the appropriate credentials to practice.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field is required.
• Demonstrated strong clinical assessment capabilities and diagnostic skills.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is essential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• A steadfast commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards in all aspects of work.

• Although clinical experience is strongly preferred, we are open to entry-level positions for candidates with relevant educational backgrounds and practical training.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management is advantageous.
