As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol in Enfield, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while providing customer service and reporting security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Monitor the movement of vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures, documenting relevant activity and reporting concerns to appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
