As a Security Guard Perimeter Patrol in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Tue 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Wed 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Thur 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Fri 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office, technology operations, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and assigned areas; verify credentials in accordance with site procedures and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
  • Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
