Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.

This job is ON - SITE.

FTE: 1.000000

Standard Hours: 40.00

Shift: Shift 1

Shift Details: (4) 10 hour shifts 11am-9:30 pm rotating weekends, some holidays.

Job Summary:

Moves patients and hospital equipment, including but not limited to oxygen tanks, specimens, and hospital beds throughout Froedtert Hospital. Maintains obstruction-free corridors and disinfects hospital equipment per regulations. May be required to monitor designated entrances, provide directions to patients and family members, access hospital systems, and answer telephones to provide general information to staff and patients. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of 6 months of customer service experience is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Ability to receive and convey non-medical information. Must possess good public relations and communication skills. Must be able to interact well with the general public and be able to make sound judgments in a variety of situations. Must possess basic telephone and computer skills. Ability to use hospital software to obtain information is required for staff monitoring entrances.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
