Job description

) Lillington Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking qualified individuals to join our growing team as Patient Transport Driver.
As the Transporter, you are at the forefront of our ability to provide Care Beyond Compare with the exceptional hands-on care you deliver. As a member of the team, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that we are getting residents to their outside appointments safely. What you'll do
  • Drive the company van to transport residents to various appointments - Monday through Friday
  • Assist residents entering/exiting vehicle and operate wheelchair ramp
  • Able to push and pull between 100lbs-350lbs.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness, complete pre/post-trip inspection, and report maintenance needs.
  • Document trips, maintain logs, and communicate with staffing coordinator.
  • Follow infection control procedures, including cleaning and sanitizing vehicle.
  • Provide courteous, respectful, and professional service at all times.

What you need
  • Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
  • Active certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant is required.
  • A Smartphone (Android or Apple) for GPS and Communicating with Scheduler
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with patient's or seniors, (Preferred)
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
