SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Advances the revenue cycle process for services rendered within HVI procedural and non-invasive testing areas which often require pre and posts procedural bed placement. The incumbent is responsible for securing all information required to accurately complete the patient registration, converting the correct visit within the billing system, eligibility verification and reviewing regulatory requirements for admission, observation, and surgical day of care visits. The associate also is required to complete appropriate consent processes with the patient.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
  • High School diploma of equivalent required.
  • Two (2) years of related experience required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Insurance experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
