SUMMARY:


The Senior Manager, Patient Support, Engagement oversees and directs establishes operational objectives for Elligo’s clinical research regarding enrollment of patients in clinical research studies (as known as - clinical trials). This position must demonstrate the ability to lead a team of recruiters to ensure the recruitment of clinical trial patients, as well as attend health fairs, brand the company locally, and meet enrollment goals.  



ESSENTIAL DUTIES:


Project Management (typically 3-5 projects) 

  • Leads internal marketing team members to ensure recruitment and retention project milestones are met as contracted. 
  • Oversees and delegates projects and tasks to appropriate marketing team members based on project deliverables and team member utilization/allocation. 
  • Attends and participates in the internal “kick-off” meeting to review project delegations and expectations for any new projects. 
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Company’s clinical research studies as well as the diagnoses and medical terminology that is involved in each study.
  • Responsible for understanding the protocols and exclusions and a comprehensive understanding of each trial being conducted. 
  • Coordinating activities and deliverables of all study team members? 
  • Establishing rapport and ensuring courteous and efficient service is provided to callers, site locations and all customers including but not limited to the patients, subjects, potential subjects, doctors, pharmaceutical sponsors, and all levels within the company 
  • Provides feedback to Management regarding the maintenance of effective levels of recruitment activities for each project. 
  • Responsible for overall daily recruitment activities on all assigned enrolling protocols, which includes: 
  • Develop the strategy for the recruitment/retention campaign based on protocol, advertisements and collaborating physicians. 
  • Managed the recruitment activities for all enrolling protocols. 
  • Create and lead all marketing campaigns for studies. 
  • Contacted appropriate vendors to conduct media buys or other advertising tactics 
  • Analyze patient recruitment trends for specific therapeutic areas and adjust recruitment campaigns to reflect those trends. 
  • Develop content and scripts for patient recruitment campaigns and outreach. 
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of inclusion/exclusion criteria for all enrolling protocols. 
  • Track, report and analyze metrics from marketing and advertising campaigns in regards to patient recruitment and enrollment for each enrolling protocol. 
  • Collaborated with sites to assist in enrollment of participants for study specific clinical trials. 
  • Manage team of recruiters and patient outreach operations. 
  • Monitors efficiency to maintain an appropriate utilization rate month over month. 
  • Updates internal reporting and project management tracking mechanism per departmental requirements.

Supervisory responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Assessing the work performance of their employees and identifying areas that need improvement
  • Set and communicate goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with the company’s plans and vision, in addition to departmental objectives.
  • Ensuring that business goals, deadlines, and performance standards are met according to set benchmarks and established company policy.
  • Recommend new employees to the TalentServices team based on an assessment of their performance.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and partner with TalentServices to undertake disciplinary actions if needed.




QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Proven expertise executing project plans, timelines and budgets?

  • Proactive and timely follow-up skills: the ability to organize applicable department timelines and follow up with internal and external stakeholder needs as needed.
  • Clear and concise written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills: ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed-upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining solid relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated; able to work independently to complete tasks respond to department requests and collaborate with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify quality solutions.


CRC Qualifications:

  • Skilled in interacting and working with others, including peers, patients, management, and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice guidelines and Federal research regulations.
  • Familiarity in clinical trial terminology and practices required
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, evaluate a variety of unpredictable scenarios, and achieve project timelines while being able to apply your understanding of study protocol(s).
  • Strong computer skills, including but not limited to the knowledge of a Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS), Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), and MS Office products such as Excel and Word.
  • An honest and ethical work approach to promote the development of life-changing treatments for patients.

FMS Qualifications:

  • Thorough understanding of both the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards. (GAAS)
  • Working knowledge of the principles, design, and procedural methods used in financial analysis
  • Adaptable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, tasks, and client conditions 
  • Strong customer service skills with an ability to work under pressure and conflicting client deadlines and requests. 
  • Proven oral and written communication skills to communicate with all levels of management and clients effectively
  • A natural problem solver with a knack for identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions


Sales Qualifications:

  • Ability to create compelling presentations that meet clients’ pain points to gain new business.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting pharmaceutical and medical device products.
  • Proven experience executing full sales cycles (prospecting through closing and retention/upsell).
  • Self-starter and able to work independently and collaborate across different teams to meet company goals and projects.
  • Flexible in nature to accommodate new program growth and change.
  • Demonstrated track record of increasing revenue through the generation of leads
  • General and clinical understanding of the Clinical Research/pharmaceutical market


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
