Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.900000 | 36 hours per week | Full Time | Primarily Monday-Thursday/0800-1630 and Friday/0800-1200
Starting Wage: $18.09-$24.88 per hour, depending on experience .
Position Summary
The Patient Support Rep 1, under general supervision, supports one to three skills (as defined by clinics) via telephone interaction. The Patient Support Rep answers all incoming calls as the first line of communication for the patients and clinics. Duties may include: scheduling, canceling and rescheduling appointments per established protocols; registering patients using accurate demographic and insurance information; identifying the reason for the call and appropriate resolution, scheduling from referrals to Specialty Clinics, identifying post op concerns and appropriate resolution, and directing calls to other departments as needed. A professional and friendly personality demonstrating collaborative interaction with patients, providers and other staff members are integral to the success of this position.
Qualifications
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Associate degree in business, healthcare, or related field, preferred.

Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of call center or related sales and customer service experience is required.
