Job Description
Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking an experienced Patient Services Manager to join our team at Houston Methodist West Hospital in Houston, Texas.

The Patient Service Manager will support the Patient Services Operation in the Food & Nutrition Department and will be responsible for developing and executing dining solutions to meet patient and customer needs and tastes. This person will utilize technical training and interpret government mandated nutritional standards in the healthcare industry on food health to develop healthy menu implementation plans. 

Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
  • Manages patient food service activities while ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Leads patient service staff to ensure meals are properly prepared and delivered to patients.
  • Conducts rounds with patients and hospital departments.
  • Oversees the diet office and Service Ambassador Program.
  • Maintains records and monitors safety and sanitation compliance.
  • Supervises tray line operations and/or the room service program.
Leadership
  • Leverages Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop team members to their fullest potential.
  • Rewards and recognizes employees for contributions and performance.
  • Ensures individual and team performance meets objectives and client expectations.
  • Plans and leads daily team briefings.
  • Ensures safety and sanitation standards are maintained across all operations.
Client Relationship
  • Maintains effective client and customer rapport to support mutually beneficial business relationships.
  • Identifies client needs and communicates operational progress.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model.
Financial Performance
  • Assists with the preparation and maintenance of financial statements relevant to the department.
  • Delivers client and company financial targets.
  • Adopts Aramark processes and systems, understands performance metrics, data, ordering, and inventory trends, and educates teams on key levers to improve margins.
Productivity
  • Creates value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management.
  • Complies with Operational Excellence fundamentals by meeting and maintaining food and labor initiatives.
  • Ensures the entire team is trained and able to execute assigned responsibilities.
  • Supervises production, quality, and operational controls.
