The position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work location and schedule. You will have access to advanced technology and resources typically found in a well-equipped outpatient mental health clinic, enabling efficient assessment and therapeutic interventions. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your primary responsibility will be to deliver psychotherapy services to patients and their families facing various mental health concerns related to hospice care. Specific responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to evaluate emotional and psychological needs and forming individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's circumstances.
• Implementing a range of therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), ensuring that each modality aligns with the client’s preferences and needs.
• Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate clinical records in strict compliance with HIPAA and NASW guidelines.
• Collaborating with a diverse treatment team including psychiatrists and psychologists to provide comprehensive care that addresses both mental health and medical needs.
• Engaging in case consultations and professional development meetings aimed at maintaining high standards of care and integrating new treatment strategies.
• Providing educational resources and support to patients and families to help them understand mental health dynamics, treatment options, and community resources available.
• Staying current with advancements in mental health practices and integrating relevant knowledge into clinical interactions to enhance care quality.
• Managing a full caseload, ensuring timely and effective progress towards treatment goals while adhering to ethical standards.

In this role, you will primarily work with patients within a hospice setting, addressing the unique emotional and psychological challenges faced by individuals nearing the end of life. This includes working with their families to provide necessary support during this critical time, ensuring each client’s dignity and preferences are respected throughout the care process.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A valid LCSW license to practice in Texas.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience with a focused background in providing psychotherapy services.
• Proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic interventions and practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, patients, and families.
• A proven ability to make thoughtful decisions in challenging and emotionally sensitive situations.
• Capability to function effectively in a remote, team-oriented environment.

While not required, experience working in hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with interdisciplinary care approaches and demonstrated success in managing complex emotional and psychological needs will be advantageous in this role.

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000–100,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
