Our Mission: 

EMG Solutions is a physical therapy company specializing in clinical electrodiagnostic services (EMG/NCS). Our mission is to provide highest quality care electrodiagnostic testing for healthcare providers through constant professional development, adherence to published guidelines and timely, complete and accurate reports. Employees will create a friendly, caring atmosphere for patients and will be recognized for service above and beyond. We will beat our competition by being “more friendly,” more convenient, more knowledgeable, more reliable and more efficient. We will use the most up to date technologies to enhance patient education, care and physician convenience as allowed under HIPAA regulations. Providers will be physical therapists that are either American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) board certified in clinical electrophysiology or actively pursuing ABPTS board certification in clinical electrophysiology. We will recruit and train new physical therapist employees through a company managed American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) recognized residency program.

Job Summary for Patient Service Coordinator: 

This position is based in Huntsville with travel to Athens required. Currently it is a part-time position with the ability to become a full-time position. The Patient Service Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations within the clinic. This position is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, managing patient scheduling, taking payments, and supporting the clinical team with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, friendly, and able to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. 


Job Requirements: 

  • Greet patients warmly, check them in/out, and provide a welcoming clinic environment.  
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately.  
  • Schedule patient appointments, ensuring efficient provider calendars and patient flow.  
  • Manage appointment reminders, cancellations, and rescheduling. 
  • Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at check-in.  
  • Communicate insurance information clearly to patients and document details in the practice management system.  
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient demographics, intake forms, and required documentation. 
  • Keep track of all supplies and place or request orders as needed. 
  • Light housekeeping may be required to ensure a clean and tidy area for patients. 
  • Assist physical therapist as needed. 
  • Uphold HIPAA and clinic privacy standards.  
  • Other task or duties as assigned by supervisor.  

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required  
  • Previous experience in a medical office, physical therapy clinic, or healthcare front desk strongly preferred.  
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology is preferred. 
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.   
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
