Job description


Job Summary: Assist the department with a variety of tasks including but not limited to direct and indirect patient interaction before, during, and after an appointment. Staff member will assist clinicians as needed during patient visits and may assist with triage of caseload. Staff member may assist with answering phone calls to the department and is expected to adhere to providing excellent customer relations.
Assist with patient check-in/out and prepares patient and/or therapist schedule as needed.
Answers department telephone utilizing excellent customer relations and schedules/reschedules patients as needed.
Assist the supervisor/department with data entry and other tasks associated to patient schedules.
Communicate with medical teams regarding caseload and schedule maintenance.
Ability to navigate EMR effectively to assist with scheduling, chart reviews, plan of care management, and other tasks associated to duties.
Assist clinician in treatments when indicated including prepping patient treatment areas, including checking hyrocollators as applicable, and transport as needed.
Maintain supply par levels and ensure departmental safety checklists are maintained.
Clean gym, equipment, and patient areas as necessary.
Open and/or close department as needed.
Other duties as assigned by the department.

High school diploma or GED required
