Job description

PURPOSE STATEMENT: 

Provide administrative support to Risk Manager to ensure efficient function of all risk management activities.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Support the Risk Manager, facility leadership and employees through a variety of tasks related to functions of the Risk Management Department.
  • Ensuring confidentiality of all patient information.
  • Complete, accurate and timely data entry related to all patient event reporting to required recipients, including Acadia, state and county authorities, and patient insurers.
  • Maintain all accurate and current logs as assigned
  • Familiar with risk management concepts, practices and procedures
  • Effective communication via phone and email ensuring all duties are completed accurately, and delivered with high quality in a timely manner.
  • Creating spreadsheets and maintain data bases and, prepare reports and documents as needed
  • Answer telephone calls and take messages and/or transfer calls as appropriate
  • Engage with patients, visitors and colleagues in a manner that is professional and courteous and demonstrates excellence in customer service.
  • Effective time management

OTHER FUNCTIONS:  

  • Comply with all Bowling Green and Acadia training assignments
  • Adhere to all Bowling Green/Acadia Policy and Procedures.
  • Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.   
  • Associate’s degree preferred.  
  • Effective computer skills, including Office365, Excel, Microsoft Word and Teams
