Job description

Overview

At  Bright Now! Dental supported by Smile Brands, we believe exceptional patient care starts the moment a patient walks through the door. Our Milwaukie office is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-focused Patient Care Coordinator who is passionate about creating positive experiences and helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their visit.

As a key member of our front office team, you’ll help create a welcoming environment while supporting scheduling, patient communication, insurance coordination, and daily office operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building relationships with patients, we’d love to meet you


Schedule (days/hours)
8am-5pm 1 or 2 days per week
Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients with warmth, professionalism, and a positive first impression
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate daily patient flow to support an exceptional office experience
  • Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with questions regarding coverage and payment options
  • Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and provide outstanding customer service
  • Support treatment acceptance by helping patients understand next steps and financial arrangements
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times
  • Partner closely with doctors, hygienists, and team members to deliver seamless patient care

Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in a dental, healthcare, or customer service environment preferred
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and dental insurance processes preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience with dental software systems is a plus

Preferred Qualifications
  •  Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting

Compensation
$19-$23/hour
