Job Overview
Fairview Range is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Acute Care team in Hibbing, MN.
The Registered Nurse (RN) on the Acute Care team will provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients and oversee unit operations for a shift when functioning as charge nurse. Our Acute Care unit treats medical, surgical, and pediatric patients. Remodeled in 2015, our unit boasts 28 single patient rooms each equipped with telemed capabilities, and an adjacent 4-bed ICU.
Schedule: This position is 48-60 hours per two weeks, 12-hour Day/Night shifts. Weekends: Every third

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities
  • Performs a total systems assessment according to established policies (including physical, psychosocial and spiritual data) upon admission, as well as ongoing assessments.
  • Analyzes assessment data, identifies problems and develops the plan of care in collaboration with the patient, significant other and resource personnel.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Qualifications
  • One year Medical/Surgical and/or Pediatric nursing experience within the last 3 years.
  • If no applicants meet the position qualifications, consideration will be given to those applicants who: have less than one year medical/surgical nursing experience and attend PALS and BLS class within 6 months of employment.
  • Current Minnesota RN licensure.
  • Current BLS certification or obtains within 3 months of employment and maintains certification.
  • Current PALS certification or obtains within 12 months of employment and maintains certification.
  • Current BCS or acquires within three months of employment and maintains certification.
