Job description

Guardian Angel Home Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) for a private duty ventilator patient in Commerce, Michigan.

This is a night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM providing one-on-one nursing care in the patient’s home. The ideal candidate will be dependable, clinically confident, and comfortable caring for a ventilator patient in a private home setting.

Pay Rate: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Location: Commerce, Michigan
Setting: Private duty home care
Pet Notice: The home has cats and dogs

Position Overview

The Private Duty RN will provide skilled nursing care to a ventilator-dependent patient in the home. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while following the patient’s Plan of Care and physician orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care during assigned shift
  • Monitor patient condition and report any changes appropriately
  • Manage ventilator care and related skilled nursing needs
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Assist with patient safety, comfort, and daily care needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
