We Are Hiring

Location: Nashville, TN

Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas

Department: Float Pool

Schedule: Night shift | PRN

What You Will Do
  • Obtains and records vital signs, accurately charting patient data and promptly reporting abnormal findings.
  • Monitors and documents fluid intake and output, supporting safe patient care and clinical decision-making.
  • Performs blood draws as trained, following proper phlebotomy techniques and safety protocols.
  • Provides direct patient care, including rounding with patients and assisting with activities of daily living to support comfort and mobility.
What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nurse Aide preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Additional Preferences
  • 12+ months of direct care experience as a Patient Care Technician in a hospital setting
