The 61st Street Service Corporation, provides administrative and clinical support staff for ColumbiaDoctors. This position will support ColumbiaDoctors, one of the largest multi-specialty practices in the Northeast. ColumbiaDoctors practices comprise an experienced group of more than 2,800 physicians, surgeons, dentists, and nurses, offering more than 240 specialties and subspecialties.

Job Summary:

The Patient Care Assistant will assist the clinical team in morning monitoring duties to ensure the team is working efficiently and effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Chaperone physicians in exam rooms and document scanner findings i.e. follicles and uterine lining measurements.
  • Assist in unpacking and restocking supplies.
  • Turnover rooms between patients and assist with exam/procedure room maintenance.
  • Assist with preparation of paperwork required for monitoring appointments.
  • Ensure inventory and adequate supply of personal protective equipment and other hygiene products in point-of-entry and mixed-use areas. Inform manager if inventory needs replenishment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
  • Candidate must demonstrate good customer service orientation and the ability to deliver consistent exceptional service while demonstrating tact, respect and sensitivity.
  • Candidate must be organized and able to manage a demanding workload with limited complexity in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ability to participate as a member of a team, including reliability, punctuality, and adaptability to new and changing situations.
  • Ability to work independently, follow through, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Hourly Rate Ranges: $20.00 - $26.00
