Shift: Shift 1 (Days)
FTE: 1.0 (Full-Time)
Summary:
Oversees daily operations of Patient Access, Medicaid Eligibility, and Financial Assistance services across Emergency Department and Outpatient settings. Ensures accurate patient registration, insurance verification, Medicaid eligibility determination, and Financial Assistance processing in compliance with EMTALA, HIPAA, CMS, Medicaid, and organizational policies. Supervises staff performance, workflow efficiency, reporting, auditing, and quality improvement initiatives while supporting revenue integrity and patient access to care. Serves as acting leadership in the absence of Manager/Director and functions as a subject matter expert for Epic Patient Access workflows including Prelude, Grand Central, Cadence, and Financial Assistance modules.
Education:
Associate degree required. Bachelor's preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of related experience required. Supervisory experience preferred.
