Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH)in Bolivar, MOis hiring a Patient Access PBX Representative to join our team! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!
About the area: Bolivar is located in the Ozarks with a hometown feel and affordable housing options of rentals or apartments. About the department:We work to make the patients' initial contact with Citizens Memorial Hospital a pleasant, stress-free experience and to gather the appropriate patient information to maintain an accurate medical record
A typical day will include: The Patient Access PBX Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, physicians, and staff by providing exceptional customer service while operating the hospital's telephone system.
Responsibilities include:answering and routing incoming calls, providing accurate information, responding to emergency communication procedures, monitoring communication systems, and ensuring calls are handled promptly and professionally. The position also assists with patient information requests, maintains confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations, and supports the Patient Access team in delivering a positive patient experience through courteous and efficient communication.
Job Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Customer service experiences a minimum of 1 year
  • Skills: Preferred Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Licensure/Certification: N/A
  • Physical: ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%

The position is: Full Time, Days
  • 8:00a.m-6:00p.m
