At Cedar Rapids Smile Center, we believe every great patient experience begins with a warm welcome. We're looking for a friendly, organized, and service-oriented Patient Coordinator to be the first smile our patients see and the last one they remember.

As a Patient Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in creating an exceptional patient experience by managing the front office, coordinating schedules, communicating with patients, and ensuring the day runs smoothly. If you enjoy helping people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love working with a supportive team, we'd love to meet you. 

What You'll Do
  • Welcome patients and provide an outstanding first impression 
  • Answer phones, texts, emails, and other patient communications 
  • Schedule hygiene, restorative, emergency, and new patient appointments 
  • Check patients in and out while collecting payments and updating records 
  • Present and coordinate treatment plans 
  • Verify insurance information and assist patients with financial options 
  • Coordinate referrals to specialty offices 
  • Help maintain a productive, full schedule by filling cancellations 
  • Prepare daily schedules and assist with morning huddles 
  • Maintain accurate patient records and required documentation 
  • Support teammates and assist with administrative projects as needed

  • Dental office or healthcare experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate 
  • Knowledge of Dentrix, Modento/Engagement, insurance, and HIPAA is a plus
