Schedule: FT, 40 hours. Will be working an 8-hr shift, Monday - Friday, between the hours of 7:30am - 5pm.

Dept: Primary & Specialty Care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Greet patient when entering the practice
  • Obtain accurate and updated patient information, such as name, address, insurance information
  • Perform insurance verification on the date of service
  • File and maintain medical records
  • Confirms and schedule appointments
  • Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously
  • Collects co-pays or outstanding balances on the date of service
  • Perform referral documentation promptly
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED 
  • 6 months of experience working within a medical front office position performing duties such as scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, insurance verification, collecting co-pays and maintaining medical records

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 years of experience working within a medical front office position performing duties such as scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, insurance verification, collecting co-pays and maintaining medical records
  • Knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) software
  • Proficient in typing, 50-60 wpm and Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience and knowledge with medical terminology   

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
