Aspire Rural Health System is seeking a Director of Patient Accounting! We are looking for someone with a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering exceptional service and supporting the financial health of our organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 4 years of management experience in Patient Accounting or a related healthcare revenue cycle field.
- Proficiency in health insurance billing, collections, and eligibility processes related to commercial, managed care, government, and self-pay reimbursement.
- Working knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, ICD-11, HCPCS codes, and third-party billing requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently, follow through on projects, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Director of Patient Accounting is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Patient Financial Services, including billing, collections, customer service, cash posting, denial management, and budget preparation. This leadership role ensures the efficient operation of revenue cycle functions through strategic planning, performance monitoring, and continuous process improvement.
