Responsibilities

Serves as lead biller/collector in the performance of Medicare and Medicare Advantage patient account billing and collections activities.  Performs daily work assignment for Medicare & Medicare Advantage billing and collections staff, prepares and submits claim forms and resolves related problems, and works with biller/collectors and others as necessary to assist in ensuring timely and accurate billing and collection process.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Two years experience in billing, OR Associate's Degree in Business.
  • Knowledge of patient accounting or electronic billing systems.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • PREFERRED: 

    1. Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
