Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a rewarding career opportunity? Look no further! Tall Oaks Assisted Living and Potomac Place, invites you to join our dynamic therapy team as a Full-time Speech Language Pathologist. 

About Us:  Join our therapy team in a unique split position supporting residents across two welcoming Northern Virginia communities: Tall Oaks Assisted Living in Reston and Potomac Place in Woodbridge. Both communities offer assisted living, memory care, on-site rehabilitation, and supportive, resident-centered environments where therapy professionals can build meaningful relationships and make a direct impact on residents’ wellness and independence. This split position provides the opportunity to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams across two distinct settings while enjoying the variety, professional growth, and rewarding relationships that come with serving residents throughout their wellness journeys.

Job Summary: The Speech-Language Pathologist shall conduct screenings, evaluations, re-evaluations, discharge planning, and make revisions in any established plan of care as supervised by the physician. 

Qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program. 

  • Certification and licensure requirements as established by state and national board associations. 

  • Active state license required. 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Possess current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures, clinical programs with application skills to therapy disciplines. 

  • Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure.  Screening requirements may vary by location.
