Position: Care Pathway Program Manager
Overview
Now more than ever, mental and behavioral health care for kids is needed in our community. Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health is looking to meet the growing demands by hiring a full-time Care Pathway Program Manager.
As a member of our team, you will help children, youth and families successfully meet life's challenges by offering the support they need. We are a collaborative network of child therapists, psychiatrists, PMHNPs, case managers, school staff, community partners and other mental health professionals working toward a common goal. Together, we provide a positive environment for kids and their families to find health, hope, and happiness.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and training to C&A staff regarding suicide prevention; assure that applicable clinical staff have sufficient training and support to provide suicidal clients as required; support and facilitate DBT team meetings.
  • Serve as C&A's suicide prevention liaison both internally and on community committees, task forces, and the like to promote C&A's suicide prevention programming.
  • Establish and maintain expertise related to DBT and other evidence-based trauma and resiliency practices (EBPs); promote the use of EBPs and evidence-informed/best trauma and resiliency practices by C&A staff.
  • Oversee Care Pathway Program budgets.
  • Develop annual RFP and provide timely and accurate quarterly outcomes to fulfill StarkMHAR RFP funding requirements.
  • Conduct and provide billable services (assessments; individual, family, and/or group therapy; consultation) to meet minimum established productivity expectations.
  • Assist C&A DBT providers to ensure that DBT services are provided with quality and consistency to agency clients.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement activities which benefit clients, staff, and C&A. Orient new therapists and staff to C&A's Care Pathway and DBT initiatives, as requested.
  • Participates on agency Teams/Panels as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
  • Supervisory skills and experience are valuable.
  • Leadership skills and experience are required.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and be able to function well as a team member.

  • The ability to work effectively with other professionals and different disciplines is required.
  • Experience working with suicidal clients and providing DBT therapy is valuable.
  • Knowledge of health and social services available to children, adolescents, and families in Stark County is valuable.

  • Must possess skills to conceptualize client/system needs and recommend appropriate services.

  • Training in DBT is required and may be provided if needed.

  • Must be culturally competent and willing to work with clients and families within various diverse populations.
Qualifications
Licensed in the State of Ohio to provide assessment and therapy via the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board, or the Ohio Board of Psychology. Otherwise, qualified applicants working toward licensure may be considered. Must possess at least a master's degree(s) in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or the equivalent. Independent licensure (PhD, LPCC, LISW), or working toward independent licensure, strongly preferred.

Location: We have positions available at all four locations in Stark County including downtown Canton, Belden Village, Alliance and Plain Township. This position is located at our Belden Village office.
Salary Range/Compensation: Based upon licensure status, experience and job responsibilities.
