The Speech Pathology and Audiology Department at Ball State University seeks an adjunct faculty team member to teach a course in our curricula. The successful candidate will work alongside our faculty to share discipline-specific knowledge and clinical expertise with the next generation of speech-language pathologists and audiologists. What you'll do and what you'll bring:

The successful candidate will instruct an undergraduate or graduate course in the Speech Pathology & Audiology curricula. They will develop and/or teach based upon a course syllabus provided by the department via online or in-person delivery, as specified for the specific course. Candidates with expertise in the topics covered within the course and/or previous teaching experience are preferred. Routine engagement with students, timely performance feedback to students, and grade submission based upon University deadlines are required. Adjunct faculty reports to the Chair of the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in speech-language pathology or audiology from an accredited institution. At least two years of experience working in a professional environment serving individuals with communication disorders.

Preferred Qualifications:

One or more years of classroom or online teaching experience. The ideal applicant will have an established record of clinical teaching and supervision.
