Job description

PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pathologist with subspecialty training or strong experience in Cytopathology to join our high-volume, collaborative pathology team in Greenville, South Carolina. This full-time role offers a strong emphasis on cytopathology while maintaining a required general surgical pathology component within a large, subspecialty-supported practice environment.

There is an opportunity to take on increased responsibility within cytopathology over time, including potential future leadership duties.

  • Engagement in lab quality assurance and CAP compliance initiatives
  • Participation in shared practice responsibilities beyond slide sign-out
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • AP/CP Board Certification or Board Eligibility
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Cytopathology preferred
  • Eligible for South Carolina medical license
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume environment
  • Strong diagnostic, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Positive, collaborative attitude with a strong work ethic and initiative
