Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS), histology equipment, and safety protocols is essential. Attention to detail, organization, and effective communication are valuable soft skills in this role. These abilities ensure accurate specimen processing, reliable test results, and support for pathologists in diagnosing diseases.
