Job description

The UT Southwestern Medical Center Department of Pathology is seeking an accomplished academic pathologist at any rank with subspecialty training and expertise in Breast Pathology. Surgical pathology and cytopathology training and expertise are also highly desirable. In addition to patient care activities, the selected candidate will be expected to participate in medical student and house staff teaching and develop or continue his/her research program. Outstanding opportunities for collaborative, translational research are available with members of both basic science and clinical departments throughout UT Southwestern. Competitive salary and start-up will be provided.

The position requires subspecialty training and expertise in Breast Pathology and demonstrated accomplishments in research. Excellent communication skills and additional expertise in Sugical Pathology and Cytopathology are highly desirable. The applicant must have an MD, MD/PhD, or DO; and have or be eligible for a Texas medical license.
