School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Opportunity (SLPA/SLA)

Location: Dalton, GA
Schedule: Full-Time 
Contract Term: 2026–2027 School Year, 8/10/2026 - 5/28/2027

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district in Dalton, Georgia for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time, school-based contract opportunity working with a K-12 caseload.

Position Details

  • Full-time schedule 
  • K-12 caseload
  • School-based setting
  • Collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to support students with communication needs 
  • Competitive Pay: $30+ an hour, depending on experience
  • Guaranteed hours and weekly direct deposit

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing speech and language therapy programs
  • Work with students individually and in small groups to address communication goals
  • Support assessments, documentation, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
  • Maintain accurate therapy session notes and student records

Qualifications

  • Active Georgia Speech-Language Associate (SLA) license/certification preferred but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech/Communication Disorders required
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
