Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE

Primarily remote with a once-a-month required in office meeting at either the Dallas or Austin location.

Our client is seeking a driven, process-oriented Direct Hire Staffing Specialist to join their growing team. In this role you will own the full sales & candidate cycle — from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close — targeting small and medium-sized businesses in the 100–1,000 employee range across the United States for direct hire staffing business. You will be expected to build and manage your own pipeline on the client AND candidate side, leverage a structured sales methodology, and consistently deliver against quarterly revenue targets. This is a high-activity, high-autonomy role for a rep who thrives on ownership, loves the SMB sales rhythm, and wants a clear path to grow into senior or team lead positions.

Base pay of $70-80K / competitive OTE $110K–$180K with uncapped commission above quota

What You'll Do

• Prospect and develop a self-sourced pipeline of qualified SMB opportunities using outbound outreach across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels

• Run structured discovery calls to uncover business pain, qualify opportunities, and map stakeholders using MEDDIC, SPICED, or equivalent methodology

• Manage a full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract signature, including demos, proposals, and executive-level negotiations

• Maintain ATS hygiene (Bullhorn) with timely, accurate pipeline and activity logging — weekly forecast submissions required

• Identify expansion opportunities within your closed accounts and collaborate with your Branch Manager and local colleagues to introduce additional lines of business

• Hit and exceed quarterly new business quota; track and report on key leading indicators weekly

• Represent TEEMA Direct at industry events, trade shows, and prospect meetings when required

• Contribute to team knowledge by sharing winning plays, messaging experiments, and competitive intelligence

What You Bring/ Required

• 3–5 years of quota-carrying Direct Hire Staffing agency sales experience, with at least 2 years

selling to SMB or mid-market accounts (100–1,000 employees) where you personally produced

$300k in fees

• Verifiable quota attainment of 80% or above in at least two of the last three years

• Demonstrated ability to self-source pipeline — not exclusively reliant on inbound or SDR generated leads

• Full-cycle ownership experience: prospecting, discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, and close

• Proficiency in Bullhorn, or a comparable ATS/CRM with strong forecasting discipline

• Working knowledge of at least one structured sales methodology (MEDDIC, Challenger, SPICED, Sandler, or similar)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to VP and C-suite stakeholders

• Self-starter with high accountability, coach-ability, and a documented track record of continuous improvement
