Job description

Product Designer

Arc is the future of startup finance.

Join Arc as we redefine finance and banking for the innovation economy.

We're on a mission to provide founders and CFOs with a trusted banking and growth capital solution that aligns with their fast-paced needs. With thousands of VC-backed tech companies already on the Arc platform today, we're proud to offer a friendlier and unrestricted path to cash management and growth capital.

We're looking for a sharp, driven, and experienced Product Designer (flexible on leveling) to help shape and scale the next generation of Arc's platform. This is a high-impact role where you'll work closely with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to deliver meaningful features across our core cash management and capital products. You'll be expected to think strategically, move fast, and take full ownership of projects from idea to launch and beyond.

You don't need to have many years of experience - but you do need to be curious, thoughtful, and relentless about solving customer problems. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in ambiguity, learns quickly, and knows how to get things over the finish line.

What you bring:

  • Experience in multiple design disciplines, including user experience, visual design, and interaction design
  • Ability to make informed design decisions and articulate them simply
  • Have experience designing and shipping a web/app product for a variety of devices and platforms
  • Strong experience designing and shipping software (flexible on leveling)
  • Understand when less design is the better design
  • Have a strong design aesthetic
  • Understand the trade-offs between speed and quality as it applies to your designs

What you'll do:

  • Help define product requirements and design features in accordance with our roadmap
  • Craft high-fidelity visuals, prototypes, and specifications for your final design solutions
  • Participate in design reviews to share your work regularly with the design and company leadership
  • Work with Engineering to ensure quality implementation and user experience
  • The ability to define and deliver design solutions that are both simple and powerful

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • Experience working in fintech
  • Experience building design systems
  • Experience prototyping with Framer, Principle, or similar
  • Experience working with the latest AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Cowork)

Values we admire:

  • Take ownership and advocate for features and solutions that you believe in, and see them through to production
  • Elevate our design language, product experience, and your teammates
  • Impact the company culture by empowering teammates to collaborate/participate in the design process
  • What we bring:

    • Founding team from Stanford, LinkedIn, Affirm, Meta, Tesla, Brex, Bolt, and beyond
    • Hybrid work w/ offices in San Francisco, NYC, or open to remote
    • VC funding from Left Lane, NFX, Bain, and YC
    • Excellent benefits including unlimited PTO, paid medical, dental, vision, etc
