Job description

A global and top 200 Am Law firm seeks an associate to join their Life Sciences Patent Group in their Boston office.


The ideal candidate must have 1-5 years of patent prosecution experience with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, superior academic credentials, with backgrounds in one of the following fields: biology, immunology, biochemistry or bioinformatics. Advanced degree preferred. Current patent bar membership with previous law firm experience. Candidates are expected to draft and prosecute patent applications, prepare patent opinion letters, provide IP counseling to clients, and conduct patent due diligence studies in connection with business transactions, and working with other practices in the firm to provide full service to life science companies.
