Job description

We are currently looking for a Delivery Driver & Shop Technician in Hillsborough, NJ. A well-established party equipment rental service is looking for experienced, dedicated, and hard-working individuals who want to continue their career while earning a great paycheck.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday (some Sat/Sun)
  • 8:00am - 5:00pm (overtime. When work is done)

Competitive Compensation Offered!

  • $23-27/hr. (Based on experience)

Delivery Driver & Shop Technician Responsibilities:

  • Deliver, set up, and pick up party rental equipment
  • Drive an enclosed trailer safely and responsibly
  • Load and unload equipment
  • Assist with shop work, equipment maintenance, cleaning, and organization
  • Prepare rental equipment for upcoming events
  • Perform general hands-on tasks as needed

Delivery Driver & Shop Technician Qualifications:

  • Valid, clean driver’s license required
  • Experience driving box trucks and trailers (16-18ft, and 22 ft trailer)
  • Must be mechanically inclined and comfortable with hands-on shop work
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work weekends and accommodate event schedules
  • Previous experience in party rentals, event setup, delivery, construction, landscaping, moving, or similar hands-on work is preferred, but not required
