Job Title: Service - Assistant Project Manager

Department: Service

Reports to: Service Project Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt (Not Eligible for OT)

Location: Louisville, CO

Wage Range: $75,000.00 - $115,000.00

Overview:
The Service- Assistant Project Manager supports the execution of small to mid-size service projects, retrofits, and tenant improvements. This role works directly with the Service Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in alignment with customer expectations. This position requires strong coordination between service project technicians, dispatch, subcontractors, vendors, and customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and execution of HVAC service projects
  • Track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables
  • Maintain project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout packages
  • Support cost tracking, forecasting, and billing processes
  • Procure materials and coordinate delivery timelines
  • Assist in building O&M manuals and warranty documentation
  • Ensure work orders are completed accurately and timely
  • Provide project updates to internal teams and customers
  • Conduct site visits to verify progress, quality, and safety
  • Support inspections, permits, and jurisdictional requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Strengths:

  • Experience in HVAC service projects will be a plus.
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proactive problem-solving
  • Customer-focused mindset

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in HVAC service, mechanical contracting, or project coordination
  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Procore CRM
  • Valid driver's license, ability to pass background, drug screen, and clean MVR
