Job description

Limited part-time position available for a Patient Service Representative in our Patient Registration and Accounts Department to work primarily at our Emergency Department in Viroqua and other hospital departments as needed. The Patient Service Representative duties include greeting and scheduling patients, collecting required information to accurately process patient registration, telephone reception and general clerical duties.
The Patient Service Representative will work every other weekend from 11pm to 7am, with the opportunity to cover extra shifts as needed.
The Patient Service Representative candidate must have the ability to demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to multi-task and provide service with a sense of compassion is a must. Experience as a receptionist in a medical setting with proficient data entry and computer skills is strongly preferred. Experience with Epic a plus.
