Job description

Arkansas Dermatology:
Dermatology Clinic seeking a friendly employee to join our team. The Receptionist is responsible for performing a variety of general administrative support duties associated with the patient intake process and performing routine duties within the clinic. This part time position is located in Searcy, AR.

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position as a clinic receptionist:
  • Welcomes patients and visitors, in-person or on the telephone with a friendly tone.
  • Has a contagious and positive work ethic.
  • Has the ability to be coached. 
  • Schedules patient appointments in-person or by telephone, based on schedule templates.
  • Protects patients' rights by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information.
  • Scanning patient information into the EMR system.
  • Gather necessary demographic and insurance information from the patient to create and/or update the patient's medical record.
  • Interact with patients and staff in a professional manner that promotes the values of our clinic and promotes teamwork.
