What are part-time receptionists?

Part-time receptionists are administrative professionals who work fewer hours than full-time staff, typically covering the front desk or reception area. Their main duties include greeting visitors, answering phone calls, handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and performing general office tasks. Part-time receptionists are essential for maintaining smooth office operations during specific times of the day or week, often providing flexibility for both employers and employees.

Part-time receptionists often face challenges such as managing busy front desks during peak hours, quickly adapting to different shifts, and effectively communicating important information between team members.
