Job description

Are you a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for meaningful work with the flexibility to fit your lifestyle? We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide speech therapy services to children ages birth to age 5 in our Early Intervention and preschool special education programs. This role offers the unique opportunity to set your own schedule and choose the hours that work best for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Administer diagnostic tests for speech, hearing, swallowing and comprehension.
  • Develop individualized child treatment plans and remedial programs tailored to treat speech, language and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Prepare evaluations, progress reports, and annual assessments.
  • Offer guidance to families on strategies, resources, and the use of therapy equipment.

  • NYS license in Speech-Language Pathology, OR eligibility for licensure within one year (with appropriate supervision).
  • Strong knowledge of speech and hearing disorders, dysphagia, and therapeutic techniques.
  • Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills.
