Computer Science Adjunct Faculty
Department: Natural Science and Mathematics
Location: Columbia, MO
Type: Academic, Part time
Pay: $2150 - $2150 per 16 week course ($716.67 per credit hour) (Pay range may vary based on geographic location)
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Description:
The Department of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at Columbia College seeks an adjunct instructor within Day program for the Fall 2026 semester (From 8/31/2026 to 12/19/2026) to teach computer science courses in the BS Computer Science program. Specific courses include Intro to Python Programming, and Software Engineering. These are in-seat synchronous courses taught during the day at the main campus in Columbia, Missouri.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include a Master's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. ABD Doctoral Candidates without Master's Degrees may also be considered. College teaching experience preferred.
