Esthetician Job Description

Position Title: Esthetician
Reports To: General Manager
Employment Type: Part-Time (Up to 20 hours per week) / Per Diem as needed

Compensation

  • Hourly Wage: $20 per hour
  • Commission: Eligible for commission on skincare services, packages, and membership sales
  • Tips: Eligible to receive client tips

Position Summary

The Esthetician is responsible for delivering high-quality skincare services, client consultations, and exceptional guest experiences while supporting the growth of the skincare department. This role is specifically designed for a recent graduate of an accredited esthetician program who is seeking hands-on experience, training, and professional development within a wellness studio environment.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn, passionate about skincare and wellness, and motivated to build clinical skills while contributing to client satisfaction, retention, and studio growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Client Care & Treatments

  • Perform aesthetic treatments in accordance with state regulations and studio protocols.
  • Conduct client consultations and assist in developing basic treatment plans under guidance.
  • Educate clients on skincare treatments, products, and post-care instructions.
  • Maintain accurate treatment notes and client records.
  • Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and properly stocked.

Customer Service & Client Experience

  • Provide a welcoming, professional, and consistent guest experience.
  • Build rapport with clients to encourage return visits and long-term relationships.
  • Support client education regarding skincare services and wellness offerings.
  • Assist in maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

Account Management

  • Assist with client scheduling, follow-ups, and appointment management.
  • Support membership inquiries, upgrades, and renewals as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of client records.
  • Track client progress and report observations to leadership when needed.

Inventory & Operations

  • Support monitoring and organization of skincare inventory and supplies.
  • Assist with stocking treatment rooms and maintaining product availability.
  • Follow cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards at all times.
  • Assist studio operations as needed.

Wellness Education

  • Learn and become familiar with Restore wellness therapies and services.
  • Understand how skincare services integrate with overall wellness offerings.
  • Participate in ongoing training and skill development.

Business Development & Studio Support

  • Support initiatives to grow the skincare department through client engagement.
  • Assist in promoting skincare services, memberships, and studio offerings.
  • Participate in in-studio promotions, events, and grassroots marketing efforts.
  • Help drive client awareness and education around skincare treatments.
  • Contribute to team efforts that support client retention and studio growth.

Qualifications

  • Recently licensed Florida Facial Specialist / Esthetician graduate (required).
  • Limited or no prior experience required training will be provided.
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow in a clinical wellness environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, reliable, and team-oriented.
  • Passion for skincare, wellness, and client care.
