Job description

At Shinesty, our mission is to force the world to take itself less seriously. We make people laugh first and sell second. Our mothers don't always approve of what we do, but the millions of people we've entertained over the years do.
Shinesty is looking for a part-time Production Assistant to support our in-house photo and video shoots. This role is the connective tissue between pre-production logistics and on-set execution: keeping everything organized, prepped, and moving so photo and video shoots run smoothly. This is a part-time position capped at 20 hours per week, compensated at $20 an hour.
Requirements
What You'll Do
On Set & Photoshoots -
  • Serve as a general PA, keep the day running smoothly and prep products and props for each setup so the creative team can stay focused on directing
  • Onboard models at photoshoots. Walk them through what they're wearing and get them where they need to be, on time
  • Help with general photoshoot logistics; source props from Facebook Marketplace, Goodwill, and similar resources based on shoot briefs
  • Pack, organize, and prep all props, products, and accessories for load-in & load-out
  • Build or assemble set pieces and custom props as needed

Pre-Production Operations & Studio (Ongoing) -
  • Log incoming photo samples, track arrivals, and maintain a running record of what's in-house vs. outstanding
  • Find & reach out to models outside of agencies to work with for upcoming photoshoots
  • Unpack product after deliveries and handle returns and repackaging after shoots
  • Keep the studio organized, tidy, and functional day to day
