Don Hewlett Chevrolet Buick and Hewlett Parts Center in Georgetown, Texas are currently hiring for a Parts Warehouse Manager.
This is a high volume automotive parts warehouse. We carry genuine GM parts for Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Cadillac, Hummer, Oldsmobile, Pontiac and Saturn in addition to genuine Volkswagen parts. An excellent team environment and growth potential combine to create an excellent career opportunity. W
The Parts Warehouse Manager oversees the receiving, storage, and distribution of parts. ensuring efficiency and accuracy. This role oversees a staff of 25 parts associates ensuring efficiency, accuracy and all safety measures are followed. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills.
Essential Duties
  • Oversee daily shipping, receiving, and stocking, ensuring proper organization and cleanliness.
  • Hire, train, and supervise warehouse employees, creating schedules and setting performance goals.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed and equipment is maintained.
  • Meet regularly with warehouse leads to assess and analyze plans productivity.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, or related field.
  • Proven ability to lead a team, solve problems, and communicate effectively.
  • Strong organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in warehouse environment.

Work Conditions
  • Work is performed primarily in a warehouse setting, involving extended periods of standing and walking.
  • Exposure to typical warehouse conditions such as variable temperatures and equipment noise.
  • Use of basic equipment such as barcode scanners, step ladders, or lifts.
